October, 2015 Winner: Autumn Scene

This photo was taken Sunday 11. October by the Lake Jonsvatnet near Trondheim, Norway. This morning there was thick fog covering much of the Trondheim area, and there was almost no wind. The fog/mist had partly broken up many places, allowing sunlight to shine through. So the conditions were ideal for some autumnal photography.

I love the misty mood and brightening birches highlighted against the veiled hillside, all reflected in the water with those colorful floats. Beautiful and evocative. Nominated.
