Used my K1000 for the sunset and what I believe was a W60 for the underwater shot we borrowed from a friend just for the trip. Both images were taken during the same trip and at the same beach, in Gili Trawangan island.

Very little post production in GIMP, mainly to get the image sizes to fit and merge the two images using what I believe is the Hard Light layer mode in GIMP (my copy is in Spanish). No size or position manipulation, they just fit perfectly together! Very exited with the result as this is my first composite. I hope you like it.

I really like this shot. It is very well done. I really like how the image blends so well together that it is only upon further investigation do you realize the fantastical element of the sunset and tree under water. Nominated
