I found this cute old model Ford wagon lying around, and I was drawn to how much everything about the car seemed to represent travel and adventure. I spent a couple weeks trying out some ideas using the model wagon before I settled on this one. I stuck the model car onto a globe with a little bit of hot glue, lit it from one side and added some bounce from the other side, and then took a separate longer exposure to make the stars via flashlight-painting the backside of a black sheet of paper poked full of holes.
