My copy seems to be for XP & Vista only. Is there an update for Windows 7? Can it be downloaded?

At the moment, lucky to have Elements 8 to raw process the DS, K10D, K20D, and K-7 images. Colors don't seem the same as Silky Pix. Might have outsmarted myself (not hard to do) with the new computer.

PENTAX DIGITAL CAMERA UTILITY UPDATE v4.11

PENTAX is pleased to announce that the PENTAX Digital Camera Utility version 4.11 is now available, free of charge, to previous owners of the Digital Camera Utility versions 4 and later.

Downloads are available for Windows (XP SP2 or later, Vista, 7) and MacOS-X (10.3.9, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6).

PLEASE NOTE: Due to significant design changes with the Digital Camera Utility version 4 from previous versions, this update will only work with versions 4 and later. Previous versions of this utility software (e.g. versions 2x and 3x), will not be updated with this download.

* Added support for the PENTAX K-x DSLR camera.
* Added support for Blue Sky and Sunset picture modes to the image data display.
* Added support for the Cross Processing function to the image data display.
* Added lens data for the PENTAX DA L 55-300mm lens (K-x-only kit lens).
* When canceling the Bold condition of "Indicate Changes In Image Data During Frame Advance" in previous versions of the software, it would sometimes not cancel. Version 4.11 corrects this condition, so that it does cancel properly.
* Fixed the display of the white balance fine tuning value.
* Improved overall program stability.
* Improved stability of Gray Point setting. (Mac)
* Fixed the main display window to maintain the display of Image Data and Histogram. (Win)
* Fixed a crash condition that might occur when viewing an image previously rotated in Windows Photo Gallery. (Win)
* Fixed the display for images captured with AF Select, so that the software does not show [----]. (Win)
* Added the choice to overwrite the original file when using the Save As operation. Previously, the choice to overwrite/replace the original file was not an option. (Win)
* Fixed the Crop function to reflect image coordinates. (Win)

PREPARATION

* You must have version 4x of the PENTAX Digital Camera Utility software installed in order to download and install this update.
* System requirements:
Windows: XP (SP2 or later), Vista, 7, Pentium 4 equivalent or later, 1GB RAM (3GB RAM recommended for Windows Vista/7), 1GB HDD free space.
MacOS-X: version 10.3.9, 10.4, 10.5, 10.6, G5 processor or later (support for dual core, Intel Core processor, Universal Binary), 1GB RAM, 1GB HDD free space.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Click the download link below appropriate to your operating system, and save the download file to your computer's hard drive. For example, saving the download file to your desktop will allow you find it easily once the download is complete.
2. Close other applications, then double click the download file to begin the update. Mac users may need to first unstuff the download file prior to installation.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the update.
4. When the update is complete, click FINISH to exit the installer.
