s-sw99 loads and then a error meassage.
I figure the 1st disk was faulty, so I got a new one same thing.
then tried a new computer same thing.
any tips or tricks to get it to run?

It might be me, but what software are you talking about? And it's a very good idea to give the exact error message.

As you posted this in dSLR, are you talking about a firmware update or the firmware itself?
On the other hand your talking about a disk, so maybe you're talking about SilkyPix/DCU4?

In which case it belongs in the software section Will see if the mods agree or not

And the main question for blizzard is which error message he/she is getting and if he/she searched the internet for similar problems? Other info that can be useful is the operating system and maybe the hardware spec.

managed to get a 3RD copy every thing is working now

Bonjour, je viens d'acheter le modèle Pentax K-x et j'ai le même problème...
j'ai essayé d'ouvrir le logiciel sur mon Mac Os x, mais ça ne marche pas... je n'ai également pas réussi à ouvrir le "Operating Manuals"

Est-ce que quelqu'un aurait une solution

I just purchased the Pentax K-x
I tried to run the Pentax software S-Sw99( Pentax Digital Camera utility 4) and the operating manuals.
I have a Mac os x version 10.6.5
It didn't run at all... nothing... no error message... just nothing...

I need some help please!
