Hi,

I'm just learning PP as we speak. I have recently installed Lightroom 2.

However I seem to make my pictures worse than better...I can't seem to get the hang of it. It's really annoying!

I've seen many threads saying that you can accelerate the process by saving custom presets once you have set them up properly. You can make multiple presets depending on the light conditions etc...and this makes it a lot quicker! You just need to tweak it a tiny bit afterward if you really wish to.

I read online that there was a way to export and import custom presets for Lightroom, though no explanation of how. So maybe it isn't possible.

I was wondering if this was possible and also if anyone who's better at PP (well, that probably means everyone) would be willing to share their presets with me, or anyone that might be in a similar situation.

I admit that maybe I don't know that there's an unwritten code of ethics where if you take the picture you have to be the one who does the PP. If there is, let me know. If there isn't, it would be very useful to me, at least to get me started on the right track.

Also, maybe it's possible or better with another software such as Elements, Photoshop or any other software. It might be better for PP as well. I can get Elements, but for Photoshop I'd have to wait a few months.

I've downloaded and saved quite a few free presets for Aperture I'm sure there have got to be some for Lightroom.
