Advanced Photo Tools - some cool PP software tools

Just came across these guys:
Advanced Photo Tools

I think they are Czech, and they have a suite of very useful software tools that do:

- digital watermarking (like Digimarc etc)
- de-noising (like Noiseware, Noise Ninja etc)
- deblurring/ deconvolution (like Focus Magic)
- HDR and
- shadow recovery

Their Denoising tool

even has a freeware version (Windows) and in my limited testing on some JPEG's out of my point and shoot Fujifilm F200EXR, it works very well, perhaps even a tad better than Noiseware.

The watermarking tool seems very useful and is way cheaper than services like Digimarc.

Some tools though, like the shadow recovery tool

are interesting, but performed S-L-O-W-L-Y on my PC.

Individually each tool is quite cheap to buy, and as a bundle the whole toolkit is quite affordable.

FWIW, YMMV, etc.

Their denoise tool looks great, even better than neat image! And it's only 10 bucks! Thanks for sharing this. +rep

Which version do you download for "Denoising", either as a trial version or a useable one "free"?

DeNoiseMyImage is the de-noising app. The Freeware version is what I downloaded. It is completely usable, just slower than the Standard and Professional versions, and with no batch support, I think.

One thing to note: there are 32bit and 64 bit versions of each download. Get the one compatible with your CPU.
