[langtitle=da]Lightroom er MEGET langsom[/langtitle]

Hej.

First thing to do is turn off faces. It really slows things down. But also believe that rendering 1:1 previews is converting every raw photo into a full sized Jpeg. That can take a while with 25000 photos. Why 1:1 previews?

I really on't know why 1:1 preview. I just read about it ... I will try "Standard"

Where do I turn off faces?

There's no "faces" feature in Lightroom. That's an Aperture/iPhoto & Picasa feature. LR doesn't have any facial recognition feature.

That being said, I have experienced no "slowness" w/ LR 3. I, too, suspect the 1:1 views may be the culprit.

I found the beta versions a little slow, but I've been trying the 30 day trial, and so far so good. I did find that in the library mode, viewing at 1:1 was slow, but if I went into the develop module, it improved the 1:1 preview. (this was in the beta version)
