and no, the lens cap is not on

in pentax utility, i resized, and saved as jpeg, as per the usual to post in the weekly photos, and when I previewed the post they were all black. what happened?

I ran into a similar problem. When I edit photos on my camera disk with my Pentax software, they will turn black. Fortuneately or me, I edited ones that I didn't care to much about. I first save my RAW images onto my hard drive and then edit them.

Same here, though I have never had one come out black. Perhaps because I use FastStone image viewer/editor and not Pentax's Utility.

That's odd. I've never had that happen with the Utility4.
