HDR on digiKam

Just saw this nice brief article highlighting the HDR capabilities of digiKam.

Malik's Blog How to create HDR ( High Dynamic Range) Images In Digikam

I liked it.

You must have the wrong distro.

I use PCLinuxOS.

RM2 - Another PCLOS-er here...

Friend Dragonfly might have been trying to install it into Windows. While there is a version intended for Windows, done by the KDE for Windows Project, as far as I know the Windows KDE-base for that isn't fully sorted yet.

Dragonfly might like to try Qtpfsgui HDR instead - there's a Windows version, can be Googled.

That's a very able HDR app.

Won't link it, as it's OpenSource, and might not be encouraged here...

I know it's RPM Distro working - DEB, I don't know - but it's certainly in PCLOS Repos. I just did a Repos reload (there's a very big update available) - and we currently have it as 1.9.3.

Regards, Dave.

Never had a problem with posting links to Open_source or discussing it.
Plenty of threads here with 'Linux' in their subject line so link away.

bobD - I've been 'bounced' elsewhere for mentioning OpenSource or Linux, so was being polite/careful here... Here's the link for the Windows version - most Linux Distros will have it in their repositories.

Ref: - Download Luminance HDR
