Lightroom 3 Trial

Hi there,

Has anyone here downloaded Lightroom 3 trial? I am about to but I can't seem to find out how long the trial lasts ahead of time.

Any info appreciated.

30 days

I'm in the middle of my trial period and quite impressed by the improvements in noise processing.

I would just buy it. Foe Pentax users, I suggest we stay away from Aperture 3. The support just isn't the same.

trial lasts 30 days. Was so impressed that I bought it after 4 days and used the student discount.

Anyone who might know:

If I were to buy Lightroom 3 and I already have CS4 ... would it be redundant? Or would I be better off just upgrading to CS5?

It may not necessarily redundant, JP. The Lightroom workflow is quite different from the Photoshop&CameraRAW one.
Download a trial version from adobe and give it a ride. You may like it!

There is a book, "Workflow, Not Workslow in Lightroom", that may help you in getting most of Lightroom.

I currently use ACDSee Pro 3 and have downloaded the Lightroom 3 trial. I have Photoshop CS5 and really love ACR. My thinking was that I might be able to improve workflow by switching from ACDSee to LR. But ... I've been confounded by LR's interface and wonder if anyone knows of an overall introduction to LR workflow? Upon searching the 'net, I've found tutorials on various LR functions and features, but nothing like an introduction to using LR. Can anyone point me to something?

TIA!
