Elements 9 organiser video import help needed

Hi, I have a trial version of elements 9.I have just improted a folder ( the first and only one so far) into the organiser, all the jpeg files came in ok but the video files (AVI from my K-x) have changed their date from 1 september to the 2nd it has also changed the recorded time to 5.18pm on all of the videos which were taken throughout the day. Can anybody tell me what might be going on and how I can prevent the organiser from changing the date/time on video files.
Thanks
mel
edited to add that metedata in elements has recorded the correct info for shooting date and times, but it is using the "date modified" info which is 02/09/2010 at 5.18pm for all the videos. They videos were shoot throughout the day with the stills between them so if it was a time zone problem all the files should be affected. Also windows explorer and live photo gallery and PDCU4 have the correct date and time so it's elements that is the problem somehow. and thanks rawr for the reply

As most Professional Photographers know, the Organiser that is imbedded in the Adobe range of products, is fraught with failure. My suggestion to you, is to contact a service representative from Adobe, and explain the problem to them. Adobe - Report security vulnerabilities or incidents

Thanks for the advice, not sure that Adobe would consider this a security vulnerability though . And I know the organiser has issues, just have to read almost any post about PSE on this forum to know that.
