What color ink do you use the most?

Recently purchased an Epson 1400, and I've noticed I go through yellow a lot faster than any other color. Curious if it's the same for others, or if you've got a different color you use more.

Epson R1900 user here -
Cyan is by far my fastest user - but I live in a coastal community under tropical skies and print lots of landscape images.

Looks like my 1400 is using light cyan faster than the yellow one. On my other Epson printer, R280 used the same faster, the light cyan.

I guess I just print to many nature pictures with leaves in them, thus using all my yellow.

I don't use any ink. I don't like ink jet prints very much. I take any pics I want to have printed to the local Target/Walmart to get decent larger prints made. They do a pretty good job most of the time. Ditto printing out important office documents. It's actually cheaper for me to visit the Kinko's around the corner than it is to keep buying ink for the printer. I tend to pdf for my own use or just email anything I have to send actually that way. If I need an actual paper copy of a document and that's pretty rare these days I just save it to a USB drive and get Kinko's to print it out for me.

read this: Epson Stylus Pro 3800 FAQ

It's about the Epson 3800 but you'll find the information interesting nonetheless. Quick summary: you color ink usage will heavily depends on the kind of picture you're printing...

Nearest quality digital printing facility is on my desk - alternate is 17-18hrs straight drive by car or three and half hours one way by plane including commutes to airport and check in times.
Self printing is cheaper for me - YMMV

I'm basically the same, but not nearly as bad as you. Still cheaper for me to print myself.

Same here, sort of, I have no vehicle. I am not walking 5 miles to get photos printed when I can print better than lab quality on my Epson 1400.

Using gas driving to a place where you pay to have your documents/images printed is cheaper than buying ink and printing @ home? Who knew?!
