I was recently able to find two eagles hanging out and proceeded to snap a few pictures with my DA* 60-250. The problem is I'm getting stumped on post processing. While I can do quite a bit with the mountains and such, I am trying to clean up the eagles themselves. The focus is soft and I'd like to clean it up. I've messed with Lightroom with no real improvement. Can anyone provide some suggestions on what I can use to sharpen the eagles in the picture? The only thing done to this point is cropping and auto-tone.
I think if I'm going to shoot these more often, I am going to need something longer than 250mm. I took multiple shots with my 1.4 TC, but they were fuzzier than those without. The Vivitar 100-500 didn't do these birds justice either. Guess it's time for some looooong glass...
But...until then what can I do what what I have?
