Upgrading to CS4 from PSE8?

Does anyone know where I can purchase an 'upgrade' to CS4 at a good (cheap) price? I don't have a lot of $ to spend so shelling out $600+ for CS5 is out of the question.

If you have PSE8 you can get CS5 upgrade for $199. At the link below, click on the CS5 box. Then using the drop down choices under choose a Version, it will show you which versions you can use for upgrading. The choices are from PSE and other CS versions.

https://store1.adobe.com/cfusion/store/index.cfm?store=OLS-US&storeRegion=US&nr=0#

Since CS5 came out they no longer have an the upgrade to CS4 available.

Because of glitch in the PF systems we lost those other posts about the price of upgrades.

Here's one full version of CS4 I found on ebay:

It's showing a $599 upgrade price from PSE 6, 7 & 8, upgrading from CS 2, 3 & 4 is $199.

Yes we already had a discussion on that, but the forums had a slight blip and we lost the other posts. This is why I posted the link in ebay for the CS4 buy because OP had posted he found another buy on ebay for more than the one I just posted.

Here's part of what we discussed:

You're right. I didn't check further after seeing the upgrade price at $199. When I went further buy selecting my own version, then I saw the actual price....that's a bummer. And here I was thinking I could get CS5 on the cheap. Sorry. I should have checked this out before trying to be so helpful. grrrr!!! to me.

If you want an earlier version, you might check ebay for prices. Plus buying from ebay helps the site.

Yeah it stinks. Why does it have to be so bloody expensive. Geez. I guess I will have to go to ebay and look for cheap CS4 full version, then do an upgrade to 5 when I'm able.
