Nope..if there is a major change in computer paradigm with a devellopment of new technology let's hope it is opensource, so we will all profit from it and not a big fat company that will try to monopolize it. And i hate that they give a propietary but free to noncomercial and education use while they are devellopping, that way they will profit from other people work but when it will come to a full on OS they will sell their licenses even to education institutions.
Hope it sinks.

Oh, that security checking site. Somewhat of a joke. He makes it sound like your are in imminent danger just because you accept ICMP echo requests (pings). There are plenty of valid reasons for wanting to ping your box or router. He hypes it up way too much. The important thing is having no services exposed to the internet providing an attack vector. But you still are browsing the web with your HTTP client which is your biggest threat. It still is a good service for scanning your ports when you can't do it yourself from another network however.
