Is there an Aperture 3 plug-in.....

.....for "coloring" only certain portions of a photo? I'd like to be able to convert the photo to B&W - except for the main subject. I've never tried before, and I'm not sure if you convert the whole photo, and then bring the color back in a certain area - or if you just convert everything EXCEPT a certain area.

It doesn't look like Aperture 3 has that capability by itself, so I'm hoping maybe there's a plug-in available that'd help?

Thanks,

Tim

From a forum we're not allowed to link to

I am not judging the choice to presentation..... but if you have to do it, convert the image to B&W using adustments Monchrome - the on the cog wheel of the adjustments a selection of Draw BW in or out exists, choose out and the size of brush will be selectable and when you paint on the image the colour comes back.
Be careful not to over do it, this images are called colour pop and people love or hate them
Hope that helps

I just Googled "Aperture 3 Selective Color" and it's the first result that came up.

Ah - "selective color".
I couldn't think what to call it.
I tried B&W conversion, coloring B&W, adding color to B&W, etc...

Thanks again.....
