Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying an Epson Stylus Pro R1900 printer to use for on site printing at events. Anyone have any experience with this printer. All the reviews I've read have been very good but I would like to hear from someone I know who has had one of these. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I picked one up with my K-5 when Epson was offering the $450 rebate. Figured I couldn't go wrong, provided I actually received the rebate. I received both, and couldn't be happier. I spent a lot of time calibrating monitors, setting up Photoshop, print profiles, etc. What I get now are stunning results with no surprises. I've put a lot of paper through it, and have so far only needed to replace the Cyan cartridge. I'm really loving the ability to print on CD/DVD's as well.

I spoke with a rep from Epson this afternoon and asked about a cartrige issue I had seen in a lot of the reviews. He said they are correcting that now and the new models would be ready to ship in about two weeks. I need it by April 2nd. May be pushing it too close so I may have to go with the R2880.
