Although I usually just select "Camera Standard" (not Adobe Standard), which is the default for my K-7, I have found that the "Nikon D2x Vivid" setting gives a pleasant warmth, saturation and contrast for landscape images. I don't like any of the Canon settings and have deleted them but some of the Nikon defaults are quite nice.
PSKiss has amassed a wide range of profiles for Canon and Nikon but only includes the "Standard" for Pentax cameras. I am hoping that enough e-mailed requests will get them to add to the Pentax profiles, at least to the point of giving us our own "Vivid" setting.
Actually, if you shoot Pentax "Vibrant" images using RAW-DNG and select "Embedded" in LR, you get the vibrant version of the RAW file's JPG interpretation.
Agree, it will be really nice when PSKiss "Cross Camera DNG Profiles" makes the various Pentax profiles available, too.
Cheers...
