I recently updated my version of Elements from 6 to 9, convinced by a rebate that brought the price to around $50. For the latest ACR, even a crippled version, that seemed worth doing. I noticed rather swiftly that some features didn't play the same in 9 as they did in 6, so I figured I would look for a guide at the local bookstore. They ranged from $39 to $50! Now granted, not all of these books are merely Elements v2 guides with a new paragraph or two every update - but are they truly as valuable as the efforts Adobe put into developing the software?
Clearly not to me, as I walked out empty handed (OK not quite, I had to get the UK magazine that ranks the K-5 high among FF cams for landscape work!
).
Does anyone have insights to a better place to learn about Elements? I'm thinking Adobe's help system will serve my needs; I'm about to find out. Thanks for any other leads..
