Following Roy's post, I decided to download the above program (freeware)
No problem, until I came to use the program. Problems. Doesnt accept my downloaded Raw shots.
Is this program compatible with Raw taken on K10d. It appears be a 2005/6 program hence may not be.
If so, why cant I download photos into it?

I don't know of a Rawshooter that will read k10d raw files. I know that someone had made some hacks to the program last year that provided a way for the k10d raw files to be read with his hacked version. I actually was a Rawshooter Premium owner and I loved that program! But Adobe bought them out and Rawshooter was no more. I did get a copy of Lightroom out of the deal which I like. I still do miss Rawshooter though. It was a very well written program.
I missed Roy's post, so maybe he knows something I don't know about k10d raw files and Rawshooter.

I use it with my K100 without problems but if I remember correctly, you have to convert to DNG first for the K10.

Just a side note:

There is also the free Picasa application from Google ( Picasa ).
It has a very intuitive interface and supports both PEF and DNG. Has also basic editing tools, but not as refined as commercial products have. Worth a try as you get it for free..
