New Lightroom Plug-in

I ran across this tonight and I think it is SO slick. If you use Lightroom and have the newest 1.3 version installed, you can use a plug-in to expand your "export" capabilities to include uploading directly to Zenfolio or/and Smugmug or/and Flicker!
Oh this is just SOOO dang cool. Certainly is a great addition for my work flow.

You can read more about it here:
Jeffrey Friedl’s Blog Blog Archive Lightroom 1.3 & Export Plugins for SmugMug and Zenfolio

I hope this isn't a redundant post, I scanned to see if this had been posted before and didn't see it. I am pretty pleased with this new functionality.

Well I don't use any of these services to host photos. But I might consider on getting Zenfolio orso in the future so I downloaded the plugin just to have it ready in the future

I just got the one for Flickr. I haven't had a chance to upload anything, but the plug-in sure seems handy. Could be a real time saver.

I took a trial account on Zenfolio to test the plug-in but it seems to crash here when uploading (get some error message in Lightroom).

the plugin is able to upload to my zenfolio account but 1 photo at a time.

I didn't see a picasaweb plugin at that blog where these 3 were posted.

but since this is pretty new (only since Lightroom 1.3) there will probably be a lot more plugins in the future.

You might want to look around the author of this plug-in blog. He appreciates feedback and may be able to help you. Here is a link:

I just tested the Flickr plugin. Once I gave it permission on Flickr and it worked just fine. Quite handy.
