PantShop Pro X4 at Target at the best price

I bought that from Target and it is a big improvement of X3.
Comes with the user guide that you do not get from the download.
Big saving over Corel's $79 and $59 upgrade.
Highly regarded program and quite easy to master.

I graduated to photoshop years ago but I've always found that serif photoplus ran rings around paintshop. And sells around the same price. But YMMV.

I used to like this SW until Corel bought it. Corel is like plague, destroyed Xara, destroyed wordPerfect, destroyed borland. And now the paintShoPro was assimilated too. RIP PSP.

Agreed. They really have a knack for ruining good software.

Corel never owned Borland...
and PSP is not dead, there were a lot of difficulty to overcome the old Jasc routines and make them run on modern computers...

I was getting ready to buy an upgrade license when I saw it on the shelf at Target for $40. I wondered if that was a mistake, so I bought it immediately.

Great upgrade over X3, and a fantastic value.

X4 is much better.

Good: Better Raw support, HDR that works, more filters.

Not so Good: No 64bit version. Still slow. Needs more blending modes.

Just saw PSP X4 Ultimate at Best Buy for $40! Too late for me, but that seems like a good deal.

BTW Zoner Photo Studio 14 is out. Great photo library, good editor and handles the DNG files very well.
