Issue with Bridge (CS 5.1) Can't open image with Right Click Win 7 PC

I had the motherboard replaced and hard drive in my editing computer. It's a fairly new i7 running Windows 7 Loads of ram and cache memory.

I re-installed a registered copy of CS5.1 that seemed to work before without issues.

If I open Bridge, I can go to a particular folder of images (Raws, Jpegs whatever) and see what's in the folder. But if I go to the folder first, directly from Windows Explorer and right click a particular image in that folder, there's no way to open the file in Bridge. It's not in the list of programs in the pop up window (it was before) and even if I manually select the program (Browse), I still can't open in Bridge.

I noticed that in "Program files", Bridge is not listed with the CS5.1 or Lightroom programs but it is listed in "Program File (x86)" But I am sure that Bridge is only a 32 bit application and should not show up in the (x86) 64 bit folder.

Anyone have any idea what's wrong? Maybe the install messed up somehow? Or some issue with a file association. NEF (Nikon) and all other brands show up as installed. Plus I can't even do this with a regular Jpeg.

Peter I had the same problem with photoMe. Got around it by adding it to the 'send to' right click dialogue box - google send to x64 windows and you should be able to find some instructions on how to set this up.

Nass, Brilliant. Took only a few seconds to find and implement the solution. The following came up in a search and worked just as you described.

Thanks for the tip.
