I cuurently use the pentax software from my K10D and Corel PhotoPro and am wondering if anyone has any experience resizing files to work on a digital picture frame

I keep 3 digital frames going.....if your question is how to resize, some frames come with software thats made to organized and resize the pics. But most of the time I just use the free utility for Windows, ReSize, by RealWorld Graphics, to do bulk sizing. I always just make them the exact pixel count of the digital frame since I never play with zooming. Yes, our 3:2 shots do get cropped in a 4:3 but for most shots its not a big problem. I have about 20,000 pics loaded on my 3 frames.

Did my shotgun answer hit any of your questions?

The picture frames usually have standard resolutions such as 1280x800, etc. so if you want to be really anal, you can simply size them to whatever the screen spec is. However, the frames I've worked with can actually do the resizing on their own, so you can fire up photos straight out of the camera if needed. The quality will theoretically not be as good, though.

I use IrfanView for resizing. It can do much more then just resizing I i.e. format conversion, cropping, changing resolution etc.
and it is free if i remember correct.

Though, it might have problem with some raw formats.

FastStone Image Viewer is free and does batch resizing, lossless cropping, opens RAW files and many other things.
