Digital filters in DCU4

Hi everybody!

Can anyone, who is more experienced in Dcu4, tell me how to apply digital filters in the software? I cannot seem to activize the panel. Thank you in advance!

Eric, I'm not a DCU4 user. I used PPL3 a bit that came with the K20D until I got SilkyPix Pro 4. So I've only looked briefly at the DCU4 that came with the K-5.

That section is only for the adjustment of a monochrome image. Select "Monochrome" from the drop-drop list at the top and that section becomes available.

From DCU's help file, "20 Using the Custom Image Panel":

Filter Effect
Tunes the shading produced as a result of the color differences in an image processed in monochrome. Select from [None], [Green], [Yellow], [Orange], [Red], [Magenta], [Blue], [Cyan], and [Infrared Color].

Toning
Sets the color tone of an image processed in monochrome to a cold tone with a bluish hue or a warm tone with a brownish hue. Slide right for a warm tone and left for a cold tone.

The third option in your circled area of the panel becomes available when you select "Bleach Bypass" from the drop-down list. It changes the predominant colour cast.

The digital filters e.g. Retro, Toy etc., are only available in-camera.

Thank you for your quick reply. It does make sense. I thought that you can get the toy camrea (etc..) effects somehow. Thanks again!
