Photosmith Ipad and Seagate Goflex integration
Was browsing the net and came across this bit of info. Thought I will share this with the existing photosmith ipad users.
The next release of photosmith (v2) which is targetted for end of Feb, will have direct integration with Seagate Goflex drive and photos can be sent directly to the drive. I dont think this is possible before as this seems to be a hardware/software limitation of the ipad.

We’re proud to announce that support for the Seagate GoFlex Satellite drive will be added to Photosmith in the 2.0 release. This will be in the form of another “Send To” destination, allowing users to select any number of photos (raw or jpg) and copy them up to the GoFlex drive for backup.
The 500 Gb drive can store around 20,000 RAW files from the latest full frame dSLR’s, enough for even the most demanding on-the-go photographer. When back at the PC, the photographer can plug the GoFlex drive into their PC, quickly downloading all the photos, and either use XMP data to import their metadata or use Photosmith to sync the metadata wirelessly.
