I trid searching the forum and tried Google, but didn't find any particularly useful results. What software do people use for creating video slideshows? I can use Sony Vegas MovieStudio to do this, but it's not specialised for the purpose. I'd like to know what other people use, and why. I've seen some really nice productions on Vimeo, but they don't necessarily list the software used.

PS I just rediscovered the crop and zoom feature of Vegas Movie Studio, which is one of the features I was looking for in a slideshow tool. Vegas does have a quick and dirty slideshow tool built in, but be warned - don't load too many picures at once or it will crash.

Lightroom has slide option, maybe worth the price if you're also looking for editing software.

Proshow Producer I am using version 4.x , 5.x just came out - it's not cheap but it very powerful. I compare it to Photoshop - you can do a lot with a little effort somewhat intuitive , but if you really get to learn the product the results can be amazing.
