Think I messed up buying software.

Bought Nik Silver Efex from BH. Used it for 3 or 4 days. Now that I studied what Nik is about, I can see I should have bought the bundled Nik package. What are my options to upgrade without losing lots of $?

Contact B&H and ask them to upgrade for the bundled Nik.

Good customer support would imply that they accept....

Maybe shoot the folks at Nik an email and ask them directly what they could offer you as an upgrade? It couldn't hurt.

Update....

Nik said they could not do anything for me since I bought at BH.

BH said they could not help me..."all software sales are final, theres no exchange and no returns."

Moral of the story...be careful when you pull the trigger on software! Will have to see if I can find a cheap Nik bundle on ebay or someplace.

B&H seems overrated.

It is the standard policy with open software since forever.

Maybe in the US but not where i live in my experience.

I understand that B&H couldn't take the software back because of the key but surely nik could do something like at least give an offer for an discount or something like that.
