Took a cruise to the Caribbean last week and shot lots of underwater photos. With the color shift and illuminated water the photos straight from the camera aren't that great.

But a quick run through Lightroom and you would think I was taking pictures of an aquarium.

I'm amazed and what it could do with just a few tweaks.

I am sure this was taken with an underwater camera like the Pentax Optio WG-2, but I would be surprised to hear if it was a dSLR! Good work.

EXIF says it is a Nikon COOLPIX AW100

Even though I currently shoot the K-5 and the K-01 my underwater camera is the new little Nikon. I had a WG-1 but gave the Nikon a try this time around.

Lightroom is great. not just for it's processing but for it's cataloguing features, which now in LR4 include geo-tagging using google maps
