JPEG vs RAW HDR tests

Here are some HDR tests I did today in RAW+.

This is a regular JPEG image

This is a single batched RAW HDR image

This is 3 bracketed JPEG images in HDR (+2,0,-2)

This is 3 bracketed RAW images in HDR (+2,0,-2)

No sharpening or PP done.

Pentax K-x

...I don't think HDR is intended for flowers...

Exposure is all over the place between the photos.

Oh, I will bring the question to this thread (from the HDR thread):

What was the exact process of these? In camera 3 shots of RAW+ and then merged in software?

3 RAW images merged with Photomatrix

3 JPEGs images merged with Photomatrix

Single RAW HDR was what Photomatrix spit out.

Thank you for sharing. Did you have a question, or want our comments? I like both HDR versions better. The RAW HDR has a lot more detail, but I like the exposure of the JPG HDR better. I tend to agree about the exposure comment above. Were these all at same settings?
