Black and White Laser Printer For Photographs?

aoeu Veteran Member Join Date: Sep 2010 Location: Oregon Posts: 496	Black and White Laser Printer For Photographs? I am in the market for a laser printer. Color is out of reach at this time. Used is OK and the budget is three hundred. Must have a USB or ethernet port. Parallel is too old. Must have a nearly straight through paper path for thicker paper stock. Must have native 1200x1200 resolution. This is an area that I am willing to listen to advice on. My understanding is that in our modern age there are binary dots and there are dots of varying size. I am moving from on line to paper and want to look my best. All of the reviews I read of laser printers say either average or below average graphics print quality. Are there any above average?
