Just curious to see the difference between the usages of Photoshop and Lightroom, although I added other options for those who don't use them. I see a lot of people using Lightroom and wonder if it has overtaken Photoshop. I really like Photoshop much more and feel like it offers greater control and usage over Lightroom.

I probably do 90% of my PP with Lightroom but there are things that that you need Photoshop (or a similar program) to do sometimes. PP is something you grow into. I started out with Picasa as my go to program. After a while, I bought Elements 6. Then I started shooting more RAW and got Lightroom. Then came plug ins. It's kind of like LBA.

Why are there only Adobe products in your survey?

I use a combination of AcdSee Pro 5 , DxO, and Aftershot Pro.

I guess I am the odd one out since I don't use any Adobe products.......

Sagelight mostly, or RawTherapee or Helicon filter. Topaz DeNoise plug-in for noise, or RT again

I was a lightroom beta user and when it came out and they wanted $200 I said forget it. I have been happy with Capture one ever since.

RAW Developer (Iridient)
GraphicConverter for various chores
ZereneStacker for focus stacks
Hugin for panos although I'm evaluating others
HDArtist Pro for the occasional tone map; might look into others
