....as already stated , hard to make the type of adjustments that need doin when image is so small, however, here is my rendition, bearing in mind that everyone see a different story. I did write down the steps i used if your interested. My concept was that this is a setting in subdues lighting, flat light so to spk. what i thought was that the foreground statue should be prominent to the background so that ws my approach, attempting to keep all in balance.
software: photoshop cs3/alienskin exposure.
Thanks for sharing, and BTW, i like the shot-very tight.

Anytime I try to select the sky via the wand, I usually just get a small area of the sky and not the whole selection, even in a case where the contrast is high as it is in this picture. I usually have to resort to the lasso, which I absolutely hate due to the time it takes. Suggestions?

Nice pic BTW!

I'll be in Rome next week...I will take another photograph of this very statue, and with any luck, the sky will be blue and my shot will be tack sharp...will post the photograph here if you want it.
