Probably just the next version of Aperture. Apple's caught the "X" bug too, FInal Cut Pro went from V7 to "Final Cut Pro X"

They caught it in 1999 when they named OS X. They were still recovering from naming everything Quick_.

At least the haven't started giving every point release a full number upgrade like Mozilla...
