Photoshop Touch for iPad

Anybody using this? Friend at work says its awesome for 10 bucks so I'm interested in some "enthusiast" opinions from the PF crew.

The main complaints seem to be the lack of brushes, only 1 and no brush editing, and it doesn't sync to Dropbox (only to Adobe). Ther are also complaints about the interface and lack of documentation. I have no first hand experience with it because I have the original iPad.

I looked at it, but there is also no camera RAW component, so it's very hard to work on RAW images, if at all... I thought it would be nice to be able to do edits on my iPad, but without RAW support, it's not much value to me.

I believe ipad are still limited to 1600 by 1600 pixels for editing and saving these images.

But would you really want to do serious editing on a smeared screen to begin with?
Is more a gimmick then anything useful for the serious photos.

You would be wrong.

Adobe Photoshop Touch iPad app now supports Retina Display | Internet & Media - CNET News

QuoteQuote:
Photoshop Touch users can also now work with images of print quality, up to 12 megapixels with several layers included. The default resolution is 4.2 megapixels with 10 layers, but users of the Retina Display iPad can bump that up to 12 megapixels. The app itself can handle up to 16 layers in a single file.
With Snapseed the iPad 2 can save 16 megapixel files and the iPad 3 can save 20 megapixel files.

To work with RAW files with Photoshop Touch you would need to convert them with something like PhotoRaw first.
