Grain Fix

I know this has been discussed but I am unable to find the fix despite a number of searches.

I am looking for a software fix or quick Photoshop fix to reduce grain in a picture as a result of high ISO.

I attended a Rally this past weekend and have a few night shots that I cranked up the ISO on.

I have a mix of both JPEG and RAW.

Can someone point me to a solution for this? Example below:

You are looking to fix "noise" in a digital image, "grain" is a film word. One that I have heard is excellent is Noise Ninja.

If you attempt to overexpose slightly, you will find the Pentax noise reduces quickly. Here is a link to a few test images I put up on Flickr. Included is an ISO 1600 shot and a full size crop of one corner. I do my exposures based on ETTR (there are a number of threads) and find the high ISO noise to be more than acceptable.

Excellent - that was exactly the SW package I was thinking of. I shot a lot of the night stages at 1600 and even a few at 3200 hoping that I could correct in PP later.

Thanks!
