Lightroom 5.2

A quick heads up that Lightroom 5.2 is now available from Adobe.

This is the release of Lightroom I've been holding off for. Adobe corrected the bug where output sharpening and noise reduction were not applied to exported images that were resized to less than 1/3 of the original image size. Now the application is useful.

They also added new features in color NR and spot healing,and fixed auto exposure. And a few other things. Not bad at all.

I can't get it to install. Also tried running as Administrator (I'm using Win 7 Pro).

I get:

Error 1310:Error writing to file:c:\Config.msi\10bc89.rbf
Verify that you have access to that directory

I'll look into it when I get home tonight.

Ugh. Is it still a huge (820MB) download for Windows, half of which (the 32bit setup) I don't need.

Why do they still do this?

I guess I start again from scratch. I tried installing the update but it stalled halfway through. Now LR won't start up at all.
