IMO, if you want a signature looking thing, it should be your signature (legibly) and not a generic signature-y font.

I agree "Photography" is redundant, but it's not unusual to keep it. I prefer the more consistent kerning of the second one, but the overall spacing and alignment of the first one. I think the send one is too big and both versions need some transparency.

I am remotely going in the right direction with this, or would I be better of just starting over completely and working a different idea?

Also, Twitch, how would you blend it in with the image more? Drop opacity on it?

I like that. Visible but not intrusive.

If I get a bad twitch when I see Comic Sans, chalk it up to sitting through too many Army PowerPoint presentations.

I started to use watermarking a very simple one so that when people share on places like Face Book etc.
So when people look at the picture they at least know who took the picture..
The pictures I post there and here I do not mind if there shared but give me credit some did not so I use water marks just to get my name out.
