Portrait processing plugins and software

I mostly shoot real estate but want to expand into portraits. I'm a bit unsure of what software or plugins to purchase to speed up my processing time.
A primary concern is skin touch up and making the eyes bright.

What is everyone using? Recommendations? (I have LR4 and PS CS6)

Most people who are serious about portraits will tell you to use Photoshop. And there's a ton of tutorials and how-to's online for it. It's the most widely used program, for sure - and for a reason.

Me, since I'm just an amateur taking pictures of my family, I use Corel Aftershot Pro, and I'm happy with the results I get. I got pretty much all plugins available for it, there's a lot of free add-ons, which work well for me. But if I ever went pro I'd get Photoshop.

Make sure you have done all your corrections to exposure and especially noise and sharpening beforeyou use portrait pro. It can sometimes have some unwanted side effects if you don't.

Also spend some time time investigating all the sliders and sections that are closed if you use the default settings there is a lot there to fiddle with!!
