New section needed, I'll start

Hi,
I was thinking we could have a new section or sticky in this one.
Along the lines of "hey can you photoshop my pic for me since I'm too dumb/lazy/whatever to do it".
(sarcasm)
or less sarcastic "Photoshop Requests".

In my case I'm still learning or trying to learn the photoshop elements watching you tube.

I was hoping to have somebody put burning lava and volcanoes and the earth spitting fire
in the background of either one of these. (whichever works best).

THANKS

well those images look like a lot of work with all the isolating of the hair from the existing background, it can be done but usually something like that is hard to have done for free, you might get lucky and find someone who will do it though. I can do it but it would take me a while. do you have any lava/volcano images you want to submit for use? do you want to totally isolate subject from existing background or utilize part of the background?
either way it looks like a challenge with all those blond curly strands of hair

Since I don't know how to do photoshop yet I thought it was kinda easy. I mean, it can look cartoonish.
I've seen those videos where they turn normal people into supermodels in 5 mins. I might be naive about
how easy or not easy it is to do stuff like that. Ooops.

HAHAHAHAHAHA Thanks! I'm searching for the pics now!

(seriously, I was a member of a car forum people did this all the time. I guess I underestimated how difficult it is with real cameras and
real photographers and real subject matter)

if you are actually being serious , yes the hardest thing to extract is a head with loads of fly away hair as in your sample pictures of the little girl. to do that accurately and realistically can take some time.

By comparison a car is very easy solid , straight lines , 9 times out of 10 any of the auto tools gets it right first time if you know the tricks to it.

this gives you a good idea of how "easy" it is.

Here you go, the best way is to learn to do it yourself; you can download free stock volcano photos for the back ground.

I like this forum the best and the people. One day I will update a real life update. And I will let you kind folks in on how it feels to be David with a sling and a stone standing against goliaths war machine.

Any one who has taken it upon themselves to do something using some photographic method or software knows how it feels and still does. So if your statement is an attempt to slight us for not jumping in and take time out of our schedules to do your work for you then you sir are barking up the wrong tree.

Remember this, each and every one who knows how to do something has gained that knowledge by painstakingly taking the time either by trial and error or learning it from someone else then practiced what they have learned until they are happy with their results, so if someone just does it for you what have you learned for your future benefit....NOTHING.
