photomatix tweak alignment?

hi all

i've got some photos i took with auto bracketing, hand held which are slightly out of alignment
when i put them through photomatix, when you can't see the misalignment (ie. zoomed out at about 30%), the picture looks great, but once zoomed in to 75% (or less in some cases) or more, the alignment issues become apparent
i can post a sample picture if that will help explain the problem

is there any way to help photomatix with alignment (i tried the remove ghosting function, which helped a bit, i guess i'll have to do some tweaking in the gimp or something)
i'm importing dng's directly into photomatix (with the align option selected), and i'm using the trial version at the moment (will buy it once i get my new computer)

any ideas?
thanks
dave
