They offer a standalone trial download on their website for you to see if it works on your system.

I have PSE11 and the 13 trial.. both function fine here on Win 7 64bit. Though I will say sometimes the PSE13 trial starts off sluggish, as if it is still loading (which I suspect it is) even though it appears it is ready to use.

13 even has a 64-bit build.. woohoo. 12 and lower do not.

I'll probably take the PSE12 back. I can't get PSE13 around here. I'll try the trial version of 13. If it works, I'll have to buy online.
