bridge can't convert .pef to .dng?

just wondering if there's a reason why my bridge cs3 image downloader won't save the images as .dng's, after transfer? is this normal for all .pef files, or does someone have a reason why it'd be broken? lol

I can't think of a reason it's not working. I usually go through the DNG converter stand alone for the process, but Bridge should do the same job.
