Photosynth

I have used ICE for awhile to stitch panoramas. It works very well. I have ignored the Publish to the WEB option until this morning. I tried it with a disappointing panorama and was quite impressed. It allows you to zoom around the panorama in any direction and even has a feature which allows a 3D like sequence from a series of photos you take as you move forward or backwards in space (though a cave, over Mt. Everest, etc). I need to play with it more to get the full idea but I think anyone would find it interesting and perhaps useful. Here is the link: https://photosynth.net.

I remember trying it a while ago (along with ICE) and musing "funny! something from MS that actually works!"

It is not clear that it is being maintained. There are recent uploads and what appears to be an update last summer.
