Advanced sharpening with Topaz Denoise

Hey! Topaz Labs just published my tutorial about sharpening high-iso images without increasing the noise artifacts.
An Image Sharpening Trick You Must Try
I believe you will really like the technique i teach in the tutorial. Some of you may know that English is not my native language, but i decided to do a video tutorial anyway, i think it allows you to follow the technique more easily. Anyway, it's quite simple but incredibly effective!
If this gets to the front page, i'll give away a Topaz Denoise key, perhaps more, how about that?
Hope you guys enjoy it

Your link seems to be broken. Try this one, instead.

This made me smile and almost laugh. Not because it is funny or there is something wrong but because it takes me back to the beginning and that makes it right. What you are creating is an unsharp mask like you would with a film negative. That is also not to say that this is not useful only that it uses a different way to isolate and amplify information in the photo with out at the same time not overly destroying information.

Looks OK - if you use both Photoshop and Topaz DeNoise.

If you just have Topaz but not Ps, much of the tutorial is not useful, since (for example) it depends on usage of some Ps specific filters, layers etc.

If I had to guess it is probable because the site is using Java Scripts to redirect the traffic to a different server. This is becoming the common way web pages are being written. The problem is that these scripts are a BIG security hole for the people going to these pages. Because of the security problems most enterprise/government and many private systems block most Java Scripts. For me to get to the video I had to look at what the site it was trying to send me too and then go to the top URL. From there I worked my way down to the page with the tutorial.

FYI I spent a little time looking at how to do this in just Paint Shop Pro X6. I haven’t totally duplicated it but I can see all the things in PSP needed to use it without PS or Topaz Denoise. When I have a photo that could use something like this I will see if I can get it to work in PSP.

Well I got in (don't ask me how) and watched the tutorial, It's worth watching. It was a bit over my head (I'm a pp idiot) but it's an interesting technique which looks to be very effective. It's also very well presented--top notch in that respect.
