Acrylic finish on photos

Has anyone tried casting prints in acrylic resin?

I saw some photos today that looked like they had an acrylic surface cast onto the top of the print.

Is there a special Ink that does not bleed. I would be curious to know if anyone has tried this

Thanks

It's actually a combination of paper and inks, high molecular weight pigments are less inclined to run, and when prints are made on paper with an alumina-silicate porous coating like Ilford smooth pearl paper would hold onto the inks for an adhesive to be applied and allow for face mounting onto acrylic without the prints being damaged, or losing clarity in the process.

No, I am talking about an applied coating

I have found one coating ArtResin. I am still looking at the best overall process though

I saw some prints done with the coating, and it intrigued me. Prints were not great, but the idea of the resin coating which seemed to add some dimension to the print got my attention
