Aspect Ratio?

Shoot a 3:2 ratio camera K5 and shooting headshots in 8x10 I think 5:4?

If I shoot non portrait and shoot horizontal, will the crop be on the ends and not on the top?

Will shoot in horizontal and crop ends off, will make things easier to crop in camera as I am shooting.

Yes, if you choose to use the entire height of the frame. But it's probably a better idea to shoot in portrait (to help you compose) and then leave enough negative space to allow for cropping.

Thanks Adam, first time for the 8x10 headshot shoot. Have before cropped to tight and ran into problems with other ratios.
