Lightroom compatability with Windows 10

I am using Lightroom 2.7 with Windows 7 and wonder if upgrading to Windows 10 will cause problems with it? What are others experiencing?

Short answer is it Works.
Although it did list that program as removed due to compatibility issues. But 1.It wasn't removed and or uninstalled and I did not have reinstall it.
2.And It worked as before more stable if you will (I had windows 8 before and I hated it. 10 is way more bearable)

I'm running Lightroom CC on Windows 10 and have no problems.

You should consider upgrading from Lightroom 2.7. It is rather ancient now and newer versions have many improvements,

Regards

If the Win 10 installer says it passes muster, it will work. If not, good luck retaining it. As with the seventhdr, I suggest that you may find a more recent version easier to work with and that the new features come in very handy.

Subscription spreads the pain out instead of being in one hit, if that helps! :-)

He is using a version that is around 8 years old.. long long since paid for. Do you really think he wants to spend 10/month indefinitely? haha

If/When you get the opportunity, I'd go with version 6 standalone upgrade from 2.x. It is 79 USD direct from Adobe.

LR 2.7 is so out-dated. I'd upgrade "one way or another" and enjoy the new features with W10 and problem solved.

I can attest that Lightroom 4 works fine with Windows 10, as well. I used it without issue, but recently upgraded to the CC subscription. We'll see if the upgrade was worth it or not.

I use Lightroom 5 and it is fine. I agree with the others that feel that version 2 is a little ancient and worth upgrading.

+1, the differences between Lightroom 2.7 and the latest offerings are like chalk and cheese, IMHO you really do need to upgrade to be getting the full benefits of Lightroom.
