Questions about Printers

My HP printer wore out, now I 'm looking for a new printer. I'm looking for a general purpose printer that will print photos too. Budget $200 and below.

When printing photos do have it done a store vs printing them at home? Or do you print your photos on your home printer?

I have my photos printed at Costco. They use Fuji archival quality paper for their satin finish prints up to 12x18 inches in size. Also, they have published printer profiles which are fairly regularly updated for their numerous store locations.
For day-to-day printing we just use a cheap Epson which can also scan and photocopy. I'm not saying that is what you should do, but works fine for our needs.

In the inexpensive Epson line--any printer (now likely are all "all in one") that takes 6 clara inks, is capable of printing essentially the same as their best printers.

I use a small RX 595 (all in one) for smaller sizes (up to printing 8.25" wide), and I use it to prepare master strip--to check print strip by print shop--before OK'g large prints.

I've tried a local camera shop, and Walmart. I get great results from my home printer (Canon MG7520($95)) on matte or gloss paper (home art and pictures for family). The matte paper drinks the ink, so I use a generic $6.49 with prime shipping for a complete 6 pack of ink (C,Y,M, Gray, Blk small, Blk LG).

I've printed borderless 4x6 up to borderless 8-1/2 x 11.

It's a wireless, copier, scanner that can also print on both sides (for school work). You can print from phones and tablets, but i haven't tried that. There's a newer model, but this one had better ratings.

My Epson NX625 has printing problems, so time to replace it; I'm open to any suggestions as well, in the $100-150 range.

I still stand behind my Canon MG7520.

I'll consider Canon; had one before the Epson, and had nothing but problems with the paper loading, jammed constantly. That's why I went to Epson.

On my RX-595 (small) Epson I can cut larger paper to essentially any size. (Thus I buy 13"x19" sheets.) As an example I can print at 8"x12" (matching the 2:3 aspect ratio of the sensor), 8.25"x19", etc. Thus I would make sure the Epson** takes paper by a path that is not a paper tray (and 6 Clara inks set, as I mentioned earlier).
____
** I don't know if this capability to print essentially any size is a common attribute of other makes of ink jet printers.
